Enceladus
Custom software, drawing robot, white ink on Fabriano black 300gsm paper. 30 x 42cm unframed. Edition of one, this is a unique original drawing, not a print.
This drawing was created from a recording of the sound of magnetic waves near Saturn’s icy moon, Enceladus. The lines in the centre of the drawing are progressively distorted by the sound captured by the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft.
For each drawing sold, I will donate £5 to Trees for Life, to offset carbon and support the rewilding of the Scottish Highlands.
A note on care of the drawings: where possible I use ink that is certified for archival purposes, however even these inks can fade or change colour when exposed to UV light. I recommend avoiding hanging original drawings in direct sunlight, and using UV filtering glass when framing if possible.
